Title: Training Delivery in use of Pictorial Evaluation Tools (PETs)
Nature of Work: During September 2006, AA International Ltd delivered three training courses on the use of PETs for government extension officers as well as UN officers and NGO field workers in South Sudan. These Pictorial Evaluation Tools have been developed by AA International Ltd/ CAZS-NR to assist field workers to determine food crop yields in South Sudan. By comparing and contrasting visual impressions of crops in the field with photographs of crops that depict a range of expected yields, such non-specialist assessors will be able to judge crop yield to a satisfactory degree of accuracy.
