PET Manuals for Uganda Print E-mail
In October 2015,  AA International released the new FAO funded Pictorial Evaluation Tools for Crop and Livestock Assessing in Uganda

The images and data for the manuals were collected (in Karamoja) and compiled between October 2014 and February 2015. The manuals were published in September 2015 and can be downloaded free of charge below:

PET-Crops, Karamoja contains photo-indicators to assist assessors in estimating crop yield at harvest time in Karamoja.

APPS of PET Crops and PET Livestock

PET Crops TM and PET Livestock TM   are being modernized into a digital format to be used on android smart-phones and tablets.  The apps incorporate crop yield and livestock body condition data collection using the tried and tested PET photo- indicators; data compilation and analysis leading to real-time reporting by field officers.
