Communities caught up in conflict zones either in their own villages or as Internally Displaced Persons, are usually isolated from relief, development and commercial activities. AA International Ltd staff have, over the past two decades, prepared, monitored and evaluated a wide variety of programmes for international NGOs and Agencies, for Emergency Development in Conflict Zones;
 

  • Training Community Animal Health Workers; Beja Agropastoralists, East Sudan and Eritrea
  • Provision of appropriate inputs of seeds and tools; IDPs Eritrea and Ethiopia
  • Establishing poultry units; Eritrea
  • Training of extension workers, Eritrea
  • Developing irrigated vegetable production; Saharoui Arab Republic refugees
  • Community seed banks with seed insurance; Eritrea
  • Soil and water conservation, pilot community based projects in East Sudan for Beja Congress and earlier in Tigray for REST.
