AA International Ltd is now in a position to offer a one-stop, web-based e-advisory and mentoring service for project and programme managers, field-based technicians, farmers, foresters, horticulturalists, conservationists and all specialists engaged  in food security, natural resources development and land management in developing countries.

The service, called TechTalk© offers direct agricultural advice and environmental advice in simple understandable English, to problems posed by subscribers whose detailed project/ programme profiles have been logged and confirmed on the web-site.

TechTalk© was created in response to:

  • The difficulties that many programme and project officers experience accessing reliable technical advice

  • The extreme carbon footprint of technical consultancies

  • The high cost of face-to-face consultancies AND

  • The continuing and growing need for projects to receive technical and managerial advice in a rapidly changing world

 

The technical advice and support we provide comes from experienced members of the Tropical Agricultural Association (TAA) and established research and development institutes and centres in the UK and beyond; as well as AA international Ltd's staff and associates.

Sudan ( Northern States) Crop Assessment 2009/2010

AA International Ltd trained MoA and FAO-SIFSIA crops and food supply assessors prior to an Assessment conducted in Nov/ Dec 2009. The Assessment Mission Report was written by AA International's Director, Ian Robinson, from the information obtained by the trained teams and from reports prepared by FAO-SIFSIA, Khartoum.
